Jumpshot Basketball Academy opened its door to the public in late 2022. We started our club with only 25 registrants back in 2022. Today with the help and trust from our dedicated parents and players, our club on Vancouver Island excels well over 100 players. This basketball club was created by a father, with a dream, who wanted to give young men the opportunity to pursue their passion for basketball across the Island in an affordable way and to give back to the community, by removing the financial barriers associated with organized sport. With generous support from parents and players over the past few years, Jumpshot Basketball Academy has managed to grow from 0 teams to over 7 teams in just less than three years (U10, U11, U12, U13, U14, U15, U16 and U18).
However, as the program grows, so does the need for support. With the help of your donations and sponsorship, both public and private, Jumpshot Basketball Academy can continue to provide opportunities for young players to excel in the sport of basketball in the Victoria BC area. All donations made to Jumpshot Basketball Academy will be used to cover costs of tournament enrollment costs, tournament travel costs, tournament accommodation costs, player uniform apparel and athlete registration for families with financial barriers.
